Like timesheets, this was taking a huge amount of time, with a high risk of human error.
Alongside their payroll and dayworks challenges, ABM Landscaping are required to maintain photographic records of their projects and a range of forms needed to be filled in. ABM did not have a single, consistent process for managing these. The result was data saved in inconsistent formats and locations, data being missed or not being able to locate when required.

Supervisors had one single place to review and approve timesheets and the payroll management team can see at any time the status for all timesheets.
The Varicon payroll calculator eliminated the need to manually process payroll – now Varicon automatically completes this, and the ABM team can import this information directly into their accounting system. With complicated pay rules, this was a huge benefit to them.
Not only did Varicon streamline dayworks management for the team at ABM, it also made it easier for ABM’s customers to approve and track dayworks approvals. With Varicon, the ABM team has the flexibility for supervisors to turn their project site diary or individual timesheets into dayworks dockets. If onsite, ABM’s customers can digitally sign dayworks dockets and if not onsite they receive the docket by email for approval. Either way, these dockets will never be lost as both parties receive a copy of the fully signed digital docket. In the office, all of these dockets are in one place to significantly streamline dayworks claims.
ABM have a range of forms that they need to complete across all projects including quality checklists, incident reports, and other forms that form a critical part of their project documentation. The resulting forms are easy to use for onsite team, and give real-time visibility for the office to ensure compliance and the highest quality work delivered.
